Somatic Leadership Workshops and Self-care Sessions
Nervous system regulation. Embodied Leadership. Ethical Presence. Culture and Connection.
Somatic leadership workshops and self-care sessions give high-performing teams a flow state that matches their ambition — clear-headed, resilient, and built for the long game.
Start the conversationThe challenge
Fast-moving teams under high pressure default to fight-or-flight. Decisions get reactive, communication breaks down, and burnout follows quietly behind ambition.
Building at the frontier — new models, new therapies, new bets — requires more than good judgment on paper. It requires people who can pause, sense, and think clearly under pressure. Embodied leaders with a full set of self-regulation tools make better decisions at the threshold.
When the pace is relentless, people lose access to their own intelligence. The body is the first thing to go — and the last thing organizations think to restore. Regulate the body and the mind-shift follows.
The most valuable people on your team want to feel well while they do meaningful work. Culture that addresses the whole person is increasingly non-negotiable.
Most corporate wellness is a webinar nobody watches or an app nobody opens. These sessions are hands-on, playful, and often genuinely fun — playlists, laughter, real movement. A nervous system opens through delight just as fast as it does through discipline.
Who this reaches
The tools are the same at every stage — nervous system regulation, embodied presence, breath and movement. What changes is what they unlock.
Early career
New hires are eager but easily stressed by ambiguity, time management, and the need to maximize impact. Somatic practices sharpen focus beyond the job description. Think moving from overwhelm into ownership of work.
Rising stars
The people carrying the most weight are also closest to burnout — brain fog, physical stress symptoms, running on adrenaline. These practices support the nervous system in sustaining intensity without breaking down by discharging stress in contained doses. Think controlled burn rather than burnout.
Senior leaders
Leaders who've done this before want results without sacrificing everything else. Somatic skills help leaders focus their bandwidth to have high impact at work and transition to presence at home. Think being a beast at work, not at home.
The approach
Somatic tools meet high-performance environments — regulation, presence, and embodied decision-making, built for how your teams actually work.
01
Practical breathwork, movement, mind-shift exercises, and body-awareness tools that teams can use in the room, before a meeting, or at their desk.
02
Learning to sense the room, read internal signals, and lead from a centered, grounded place — not just from the neck up.
03
The capacity to pause at the threshold of consequential decisions — and access wisdom rather than just speed.
04
Building the kind of in-office culture people actually want to show up for — shared practices that turn the office into a place of real connection, not just proximity.
05
Laughter, movement, and playful exercises aren't a break from the work — they're often the fastest way a nervous system learns it's safe to let go. Expect real fun, not just theory.
What it looks like
Programs are tailored to your team's culture and pace — from weekly team sessions to intensive workshops to private yoga and coaching for individuals.
Team workshops and training sessions happen right where you work — no mats, no floor work, no special clothes needed. Private yoga is the one exception; just wear whatever you'd normally move in. No prior experience needed, ever, and nothing theoretical — every practice is something you can use that same day, at your desk or before a hard meeting.

What clients say
"We are grateful for our yoga sessions with Shannon. Her sessions are a meditative break from a busy workday, giving us the ability to unwind and take care of ourselves both physically and mentally. We have continued our sessions via videoconference, and we have been very happy with them."— EcoR1 Capital
"Shannon was our morning yoga guide on a company retreat. She was super encouraging, and managed to tailor sessions that challenged the more experienced practitioners, but also allowed a novice to explore and enjoy the satisfaction of accomplishment."— Glen V., Founder, Gossamer Gear
